Responsibilities:
- Manage projects, including by not limited to capital improvements, new equipment, safety, cost reduction, etc.
- Oversee completion of capital projects within established budget and schedule including:
- Managing completion of project tasks against schedule
- Engineering and implementing solutions
- Working with third party providers
- Develop and maintain system to monitor consistency of processes
- Automate new jobs and takeover jobs for all automated lines.
- Generate process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Maintain department PDCA’s and report out as necessary.
- Participate in Engineering kickoff meetings, ECN and New Jobs
- Develop, lead and implement process improvement initiatives and activities throughout the plant to improve competitiveness and operational excellence.
- Facilitate Kaizen workshops and meetings at the plant.
- Responsible for implementation and facilitation for year over year cost saving targets and initiatives at the plant.
- Direct and drive the utilization of problem-solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or five years plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
