Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Sr Print Operator to join our team in Edgewood!

This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.

This role is in our Customer Communications Division, which offers a full range of multi-channel communications solutions, such as integrated print, mail and digital solutions for transactional, marketing and compliance communications.

You will perform all aspects of Archival and/or Machine Operations activities. Receive print requests from Production Coordinator and Supervisor and print documents/jobs accordingly on cut-sheet and high-speed equipment. Work with shift supervisor, Production Coordinator, and Production Control Specialists to prioritize work requests and ensure that jobs are printed in priority order. Your primary function is to perform actual production work, maintain equipment and any other duties/responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate printers in the most efficient manner, adhering to established processes and procedures.
  • Run proofs of each job to check quality before releasing the job to print.
  • Perform quality checks and accurately complete all paperwork.
  • Maintain and demonstrate detailed knowledge of all job/equipment operating procedures.
  • Train new operators (associates and temps) to operate all DDS equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Notify Leads/Supervisors of any issues (machine, stock or service) that negatively affect operation of equipment or jeopardize due times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to multi-task and operate multiple pieces of equipment at once.
  • A self-starter with keen attention to detail.
  • Basic Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Flexibility in the work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and/or overtime.

Compensation: $21.00 to $25.00 hourly. - Bonus Eligible

Shift: 6 am to 230 am, Monday through Friday.
