Job Descriptio:
We are seeking Cleared Platform Engineers to join our team. We are looking for a Sr.Principal Platform DevOps Engineer - Windows OS for our environments; a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, for a large Project producing a critical, strategic national asset. The skills for this need will include someone who is very familiar with the Windows Operating system and can work through the OS configuration and optimization for these environments which would involve a mixture of hands-on keyboard, engineering work, as well as documentation and baseline control.

Responsibilities :

• You will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with design, development, implementation, and support of DevOps / DevSecOps development of our Windows based hosts for the project.
• You will support software deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program need for the effort.
• You will Design, implement, generate code through DevOps concepts and scripting tools, test, document, and maintain the system.
• You will assist with development of build/test and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across our on-premises and Cloud based computing environments.
• You will provide guidance on resource allocation & utilization.
• You will assist engineers with Windows based tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices.    

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• U.S. citizenship and current TS/ SCI CI Poly security clearance is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics and 10+ years of related work experience.
• Proven experience installing, configuring, hardening, and maintaining Windows environments.
• Hands on experience designing, implementing, and integrating cloud infrastructure solutions, preferably with AWS.
• Practical experience with IaC and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Chef, and/or Ansible.
• Experience troubleshooting complex systems involving multiple servers, COTS products, VMs, VDIs, and/or network issues.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications :

• Advanced troubleshooting skills for Windows platform, performance, reliability, and distributed system availability issues.
• Extensive Windows OS development and deployment experience
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation and workflow development.
• Experience in Active Directory designs and implementation.
• Experience with the Agile development lifecycle.
• Experience with SAFe agile processes.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Application development and deployment processes
• Windows MCSE Certification or similar.
• Security+ certification
