The Northrop Grumman CIDO Classified Solutions team is seeking a Senior Principal Computer Systems Analyst to support information system lifecycle activities. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Linthicum, MD location. Perform as a Senior Computer Systems Analyst in support of classified government contracts. Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal and external customers, in written and verbal format. Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction according to defined objectives while adhering to established policies. Oversee and lead the reliable operations of multi-user computer systems working with system engineers, PC desktop technicians, networking engineers, project managers, end users, and IT/Cyber management. Analyze and make recommendations to internal or external customer requirements and determine equipment and software requirements for solutions to problems. Recommend and implement system enhancements, to include automation, that will improve the performance of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management. Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases and report security relevant statuses accordingly. Ensure accurate security audit and logging information on all classified networked and standalone computers as directed by the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM). Work across disciplines to isolate issues between software, firmware, and hardware, between software and operating systems, between networks and applications, and between one-time events and recurrent systematic problems. Lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Work after hours and weekends, as needed. Note: Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. Associate’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 4 years of relevant experience; a High School diploma or equivalent with 12 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree. Government Secret security clearance (at a minimum), to include a closed investigation date completed within the last 6 years, OR must be enrolled in the U.Candidates must obtain a Special Access Programs (SAP/SAR) clearance before a start date can be established; maintaining the required SAP/SAR clearance will be a condition of continued employment. Experience with designing and maintaining Windows domain architectures, including but not limited to Active Directory, GPOs, Policies, and permissions in a classified environment. Principal Computer Systems Analyst: current Security CE or similar certification; Experience with Windows Server Administration to include Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and other services. Experience operating under and managing systems within NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments. Experience with networking, including subnets, routing, VLANs and VTCs; Experience in the creation, maintenance, and deployment of system images in an enterprise environment. Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware in a networked environment. Experience with the deployment and maintenance of Backup solutions (Cohesity, Vertias, etc.) Experience with environmental monitoring tools (HBSS/Solar Winds/Splunk).
