The Senior Principal Business Systems Analyst - Financial Planning and Accounting Applications is the Corporate Information Services (CIS) functional lead for the systems that support financial planning, accounting, and land development cost management. The role partners with Finance, Accounting, Information Services (IS), and business leadership to define, deliver, and support solutions within the K. Hovnanian Integrated Software System (KHISS). KHISS is the Company's integrated suite of enterprise-wide standard business processes and systems that increase sales, improve profit, and enhance customer satisfaction.
The Associate leads matrixed project teams, sets functional direction for the assigned applications, and serves as the primary IS advisor to Finance and Accounting management. Assigned areas of support are financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting; general accounting and financial close; accounts payable and accounts receivable; job cost and land development accounting; and financial reporting.
The role is accountable for three outcomes:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field, plus six or more years of experience in business systems analysis, enterprise resource planning (ERP) or financial systems support, or finance technology consulting. A graduate degree in a related field plus four or more years of the same experience is an acceptable alternative.
