We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Sr Preconstruction Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position in the construction industry where you will play a pivotal role in the preconstruction phase of our projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who has a strong background in project estimating, commercial preconstruction, project planning, and cost control. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of preconstruction, including but not limited to, budgeting, scheduling, planning, and design. If you are a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a passion for construction, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the preconstruction team and oversee all preconstruction activities.
2. Develop and implement comprehensive preconstruction plans and strategies.
3. Conduct detailed project estimations, cost analysis, and risk assessments.
4. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to create effective project plans.
5. Review and approve project designs and proposals.
6. Ensure all preconstruction activities comply with industry standards and regulations.
7. Monitor and control project costs to ensure they remain within budget.
8. Provide expert advice and guidance to the team on all matters related to preconstruction.
9. Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
10. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the construction industry.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a preconstruction management role in the construction industry.
3. Proven experience in project estimating, commercial preconstruction, project planning, and cost control.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, rules, and regulations.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
8. Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
11. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
12. Professional certification in construction management or project management will be an added advantage.
