This role operates at the intersection of Operations, Engineering, Finance, and electric utilities, focusing on utility interactions that directly influence asset economics and long‑term performance.
This is a highly analytical role focused on evaluating how PGD wind, solar, and energy storage assets interact with electric utilities. Core areas include auxiliary power strategy, retail versus net generation treatment, tariff interpretation, metering configurations, demand charges, and backfeed arrangements. These decisions carry material financial implications, and this role is responsible for developing analysis and recommendations that influence those outcomes.

The Specialist prepares and presents analyses, recommendations, and risk assessments to PGD Stakeholders, including senior leaders and executive‑level audiences, particularly where utility cost or auxiliary power assumptions materially impact project economics.
In addition to individual analyses, this role supports the development of repeatable processes, documentation, and analytical frameworks that enable consistency and scalability across the portfolio. The position balances through analysis with practical execution to ensure decisions are well‑vetted without slowing execution.
This opportunity offers strong visibility, ownership of analysis and recommendations, and the ability to develop expertise at the intersection of power generation, utility economics, renewable operations.
