Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr Advanced Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in developing and implementing innovative control systems and ensuring the seamless operation of our advanced equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
- 6 years of PLC programming experience with multiple hardware platforms including Emerson, Allen-Bradley, and Phoenix Contact.
- Demonstrated ability to write code using an object-oriented approach utilizing function blocks or add-on instructions.
- Experience architecting and writing code from scratch.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical control systems.
- 6 years of experience with LabView, Veristand, Python, and .NET.
- Proven ability to work with minimal direction in a cross-functional team environment.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- A work ethic that places safety and data quality as the highest priorities.
- Knowledge of software configuration tools, such as Git or TeamCenter.
- Experience using SQL to structure and query databases.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written, with our customers.
- Willingness to respond quickly with quality solutions in support of our customers.
- Experience with common test equipment such as DAQs, sensors, oscilloscopes, multimeters, pressure scanners, DEWEsoft, etc.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and test well-structured PLC programs for new and existing equipment using best practices and guidelines established by the company.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and learning for junior engineers.
- Define controls system requirements and develop detailed functional specifications.
- Maintain and modify existing LabVIEW systems to meet evolving customer needs.
- Lead implementation and testing of new systems including troubleshooting of code, electrical and mechanical issues working side-by-side with internal teams.
