Senior Physician Recruitment Coordinator, Hybrid, Baptist Medical Group, Southbank Plaza
The Senior Physician Recruitment Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Baptist Medical Group's physician and advanced practice provider recruitment strategy by building and maintaining a strong pipeline of physician talent. This position is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, cultivating relationships with residency and fellowship programs, and proactively engaging physicians who align with the organization's strategic workforce needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate physician and provider interviews by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, developing detailed interview itineraries, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Maintain accurate candidate information and recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Collaborate with the physician recruitment team to strengthen Baptist Medical Group's employer brand through specialty job boards, professional associations, conferences, career fairs, and social media platforms.
Attend physician recruitment events, residency and fellowship fairs, and professional conferences as needed.
Support the onboarding and integration of newly hired physicians and advanced practice providers by coordinating orientation activities, facilitating required Human Resources processes, and ensuring appropriate system, network, and facility access prior to start date.
Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Develop and maintain relationships with medical schools, residency and fellowship programs, physician organizations, and other healthcare partners to build and sustain a strong physician candidate pipeline.
Serve as a liaison between physician recruiters, physician candidates, hiring leaders, and service line stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.

Experience Requirements:
1-2 years of healthcare experience required.
1-2 years of customer service, recruitment coordination, physician recruitment, or related experience required.
Experience coordinating interviews, calendars, and executive-level scheduling preferred.
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), or CRM platforms preferred. Workday experience preferred.
Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with physicians, providers, and healthcare leaders.
Strong customer service orientation with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of physician recruitment processes and healthcare operations is preferred.
Education and Certification Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
