In this role, you will lead recruiting efforts for hourly and salaried positions, support employee relations initiatives, oversee onboarding programs, and develop engagement and communication strategies that strengthen the employee experience. Job Details
•    Location: Greensboro, NC
•    Pay Rate: $40.00 - $50.00/hour
•    Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
•    Job Type: Contract (12+ Months)

 

What You'll Be Doing
•    Supervises team to provide People & Culture support and guidance with day to day operational and strategic objectives. 
•    Identifies, evaluates, and resolves employee relations and work performance problems. 
•    Management and processing of Hourly HRIS employee records
•    Manages assigned staff to ensure manufacturing and payroll departments receive accurate information.
•    Ensures compliance with labor contracts.
•    Performs system audits to ensure data accuracy, decides upon and implements corrective action for audit findings and authority for payroll exceptions.
•    Analyzes trends and metrics and recommends and implements solutions and practices that support company objectives.
•    Develops, analyzes, and provides reporting to evaluate trends regarding overtime, and absenteeism. Recommends and implements improvements.
•    Participates in and facilitates the hiring and onboarding process of hourly employees. 
•    Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications. 
•    Interviews and recommends the hiring of qualified applicants.
•    Collaborates cross functionally to develop innovative, timely and cost-effective best practice initiatives.
•    Supports various P&C projects, including social events and engagement activities.
•    Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practice; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

 

What We're Looking For
•    Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
•    Minimum of 3 years of HR experience with a focus on recruitment and employee relations.
•    Knowledge of HRIS systems, employee records management, and payroll processes.
•    Experience analyzing HR metrics and developing actionable recommendations.
•    Understanding of employment laws, labor relations, and compliance requirements.
•    Ability to conduct interviews, candidate assessments, and hiring evaluations.
Preferred Qualifications
•    Master's degree in a related field.
•    5+ years of HR experience.
•    PHR or SPHR certification.
