Job Title: Sr. OpenStack DevOps Engineer
Location: Plano, TX 75093
Duration: long term contract
Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled OpenStack DevOps Engineer with expertise in infrastructure automation, cloud platforms, and Linux systems, including hands-on OpenStack experience, scripting, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) capabilities.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
Experience: 12+ years overall IT experience; 4+ years hands-on OpenStack experience
- Design, deploy, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure.
- Administer Nova, Neutron, Cinder, and Keystone.
- Manage instances, images, flavors, security groups, networks, storage, and other OpenStack components.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and configuration using Ansible and Terraform.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash.
- Administer Linux-based systems across development, staging, and production environments.
- Maintain documentation for operational procedures and system architecture.
