Sr. Network Administrator (Hybrid)

We're hiring a Sr. Network Administrator to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday.

Work Authorization: Sponsorship is not available for this role; no C2C or third-party candidates. Candidates must be able to work on our W2.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
• 5 years of experience in network operations, network administration, or infrastructure support environments
• Experience with:
  • Palo Alto Firewalls
  • F5 Load Balancers
  • Cisco ACI
  • Cisco networking and switching
  • SolarWinds
  • Cisco Catalyst Center
  • Nexus Insights
  • EIGRP
  • BGP
  • MPLS environments
• Plus, experience with:
  • Supporting enterprise network technologies in a 24x7 operational environment
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex network incidents
  • Performing network monitoring, operational maintenance, and infrastructure support activities
• Strong customer-facing skills and writing skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily operational health checks and environment validation
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity
• Respond to and resolve network incidents and outages
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Manage break-fix activities and service requests

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree preffered
• Or 9 years of job-related work experience considered

The hourly rate for this position is $43.38.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network operations and administration, with at least 5 years of relevant experience. They should be proficient in using Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, and Cisco technologies. The candidate must be capable of troubleshooting complex network issues and performing operational maintenance in a 24x7 environment. A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is required.
