Sr. .NET Developer Azure Integration & APIs

The Corporate Applications & Engineering team is seeking an experienced Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support custom-built applications supporting Corporate Functions including Finance, HR, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Procurement, Internal Audit, and Enterprise Operations. The successful candidate will collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality applications, integrations, and automation capabilities that drive business efficiency and operational excellence.

Our client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Sr. .NET Developer – Azure Integration & APIs for their Remote location.
 
Responsibilities:

• The Corporate Applications & Engineering team is seeking an experienced Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support custom-built applications supporting Corporate Functions including Finance, HR, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Procurement, Internal Audit, and Enterprise Operations.
• The role will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise solutions using modern application development technologies and cloud platforms.
• The successful candidate will collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality applications, integrations, and automation capabilities that drive business efficiency and operational excellence.
• Application Development
• Design, develop, test, and maintain custom enterprise applications supporting Corporate Function business processes.
• Develop reusable components, services, APIs, and integrations following established development standards.
• Create scalable, secure, and resilient solutions using modern software engineering practices.
• Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Integration Development
• Develop and support application integrations using REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms.
• Integrate corporate applications with enterprise platforms including HR, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Service Management, and Identity Management systems.
• Support data exchange, transformation, and synchronisation across multiple applications.
• Collaborate with middleware and integration engineering teams to implement enterprise integration patterns.
• Cloud & DevOps Engineering
• Develop cloud-native applications and services leveraging Azure platform capabilities.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and operational support capabilities.
• Apply Infrastructure-as-Code and automation practices where appropriate.
• Agile Delivery
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand business requirements.
• Convert user stories into technical solutions and deliverables.
• Provide accurate development estimates and technical recommendations.
• Application Support & Continuous Improvement
• Investigate and resolve production issues within agreed service levels.
• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and recurring defects.
• Support release deployments and post-production validation activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Security & Compliance
• Ensure applications comply with corporate security, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement secure coding standards and vulnerability remediation.
• Participate in application audits and compliance reviews.
• Support resiliency, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements.

 
Requirements:

• Experience supporting Corporate Function applications.
• Experience with Azure Integration Services.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and governance standards.
• Experience working within regulated and compliance-driven environments.
• Azure Developer Associate or related certifications preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience developing web applications and APIs.
• Experience with object-oriented programming and modern application development frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
