Overview
Growing CDMO is seeking a skilled Senior Microbiologist to join their team in Boca Raton, FL! Relocations will be considered and compensated!

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental and water system monitoring
• Perform sterility, BET, and microbial identification testing
• Support contamination investigations and method validation
• Assist with sterility assurance
• Disinfectant co-validations/qualifications

Requirements

• BS in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Pharmacy or related life sciences
• 5+ years of recent sterile injectable manufacturing experience (bioquell isolators, environmental monitoring, sterility testing)
• 8–10 years pharmaceutical experience (oral solid dosage experience earlier in career acceptable)
• Ability to perform independent technical responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Hands-on knowledge of BET (Bacterial Endotoxin Testing), sterility testing, method suitability, sample size requirements, and the use of specific media such as FTM.
• Must understand the difference between diluents and media, which is an important aspect of the role.
