    Amazon is seeking a Senior Innovation Engineer to lead the Amazon Logistics Automation Engineering team and innovate at scale. This individual will be the owner of a product roadmap and ensure delivery to the vision of the next generation of AMZL delivery station. This is a unique opportunity at a critical juncture in Amazon"s growth to drive end to end product delivery from inception to execution. We are looking for passionate, hands-on leaders with experience managing new product and process development for high dollar value programs.

    To be successful in this role, you will need to influence and work with senior leaders across multiple organizations and geographies. You will work with organizations such as Amazon Robotics, Worldwide Engineering and Design, as well as Operations, to innovate at scale and drive the development roadmap. You will manage large, complex initiatives, deal with ambiguity, and advocate on behalf of the customer to develop the next generation of AMZL delivery stations.

    Key job responsibilities

    Responsibilities include:

    • Initiate, define, plan and lead pilots in the field for new automation and robotics technologies.
    • Work closely with Operations, Field Eng partners and other stakeholders to lead field pilots end-to-end.
    • Identify new programs to onboard and integrate.
    • Lead the execution of the product with high-level of discipline and engagement with the product development teams.
    • Build product roadmaps for bringing in new vendor developed technologies to pilot
    • Lead the system integration pillar for NA based projects working with various integrators
    • Build a team of engineers to lead the function in NA

    About the team

    As Senior Manager of Innovation Engineering, you lead a team of 6-10 engineers ensuring new technology integration in your region. You act as the guardian of design compliance and performance consistency for mature automation technologies, working directly with vendors and integrators to maintain quality standards. Your role bridges global innovation with local execution-translating WW Central Engineering"s standards into reliable, on-time deployments across delivery stations. You balance technical oversight of complex automation projects with strategic leadership, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, maintenance, and field teams to drive successful implementations that meet Amazon"s exacting standards.
