Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Department: Primary Care

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Sr. Medical Assistant to support a leading healthcare organization in Montgomery, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a certified Medical Assistant with strong clinical skills who is comfortable working in a fast-paced Primary Care environment and providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits and examinations.

   

• Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs.

   

• Support providers with daily patient care and clinical workflow.

   

• Assist with patient intake and obtain relevant medical history.

   

• Provide efficient rooming support with an average of approximately 28 patients per day.

   

• Complete patient rooming within an expected 15-minute timeframe.

   

• Prepare examination rooms, supplies, and equipment between patients.

   

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

   

• Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, providers, and healthcare team members.

   

• Assist with other clinical and administrative duties as needed.

   

• Follow established clinical, safety, infection-control, and patient confidentiality procedures.

   

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

   

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required.

   

• Previous Primary Care experience preferred.

   

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.

   

• American Heart Association (AHA) certification required.

   

• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

   

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

   

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.

   

• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused.

   

• Must successfully complete required drug and nicotine screening.

   

• This is a non-smoking facility.
