Location: Medical Center area of Houston, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Sr. Medical Assistant to support a leading healthcare organization in the Medical Center area of Houston, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a certified Medical Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment and providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Support providers and clinical staff in a busy Podiatry practice.

   

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.

   

• Obtain and document vital signs and patient information accurately.

   

• Assist with clinical procedures and maintain an efficient patient flow.

   

• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and clinical supplies.

   

• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

   

• Provide professional and compassionate patient care throughout each visit.

   

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.

   

• Work primarily at the Medical Center location, with occasional coverage at the Pearland clinic as needed.

   

• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.

   

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

   

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required.

   

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.

   

• American Heart Association (AHA) certification required.

   

• Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills.

   

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

   

• Must successfully complete required drug and nicotine screening.

   

• This is a non-smoking facility.
