Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field
3-5 years of relevant mechanical design experience
500+ hours in SolidWorks or equivalent industrial CAD program
Proficient with manual mills, lathes, CNC mills, and general shop equipment
Strong understanding of technical drawings and documentation
Self-starter who can manage their own tasks and deadlines independently
Responsibilities
Design parts and assemblies in SolidWorks using advanced surfacing and master modeling techniques
Develop system-level solutions for clients from concept through final CAD, prototyping, and production drawings
Program and operate the HAAS CNC mill using HSMWorks; manage in-house vs. outside shop production decisions
Build and manage system-level Bills of Materials and oversee vendor relationships for purchased components
Supervise the full build process including assembly, delivery, and hands-on fabrication as needed
Produce production-level drawings, process instructions, part numbers, and engineering change controls
