Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
This Mechanical Engineer role provides critical mechanical engineering support across proposals and project execution for complex industrial systems, including technologies such as anaerobic digestion, power-to-gas, waste fuel boilers, and flue gas treatment systems. The engineer plans, designs, executes, and supports commissioning activities, ensuring that all mechanical designs meet technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements while aligning with North American market standards. This position also supports business development efforts by contributing technical documentation, presentations, and input to bids and proposals.

Work Environment
The role operates in a hybrid on-site office environment, combining in-office and remote work to provide flexibility and collaboration. The typical schedule includes three days in the office and two days working from home. The position follows a flexible compressed work schedule, either a 9/80 schedule or a pattern of four 9-hour shifts and one 4-hour shift within the pay period. Work involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, participation in plot plan and 3D model reviews, and interaction with vendors and project stakeholders. The environment centers on modern engineering tools and documentation practices, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and adherence to established standards and procedures.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $72.11/hr.
