Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Understanding of material properties and machining rules of thumb for aluminum, plastics and brittle materials (Ceramics, quartz, etc.). Vacuum environment design experience (O-ring, vacuum fittings, helium leak check) .

Qualification:

• Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• 8 years
• Semiconductor capital equipment experience
• UGNX experience,  Will consider candidates with Solidworks, Creo, Inventor as well
• Understanding of material properties and machining rules of thumb for aluminum, plastics and brittle materials (Ceramics, quartz, etc.)
• Vacuum environment design experience (O-ring, vacuum fittings, helium leak check)
• Finite Element analysis (Thermal and Structural)
• Understanding of heating and cooling systems
• Tolerance stack analysis
• Reliability testing

Responsibilities:

• Design next generation semiconductor etch equipment 
• Perform stress analysis to validate designs
• Work with outside vendors to have parts fabricated
• Perform in house testing on part
• Design vacuum chambers
