    Description

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors Degree Mechanical Engineering /  M.S. desired
    • 7+ years’ mechanical engineering design & New Product Development  (industrial tools highly desirable, i.e.: Torque wrenches)
    • SolidWorks & PDM 
    • Must: conceptualization of designs, prototyping & testing (Cradle to grave design or design to industrialization)
    • Must have Materials knowledge of alloys (chromoly steel), metals strongly preferred. 
    • Must have Knowledge of  lifecycle testing; dynamic fatigue testing & FEA methods,  heat treatments , CNC Machining & plastic injection molding  
    • Manage test set ups and DOE's 
    • Knowledge of fabrication, assembly techniques and machine-shop practices and techniques
    • Creative, Self Starter
    Responsibilities:
    • Create designs & develop technical requirements & product specifications
    • Create and review engineering reports documenting new designs, product testing, and failure investigation
    • Create engineering test plans and reports for product verification and validation. Perform test and analysis tasks
    • Sustaininig engineering activities 
    • Develop processes, methods, tooling, and production controls to take designs into production with low manufacturing costs
