    POSITION TITLE: Senior Marketing Communications Specialist

    DEPARTMENT: Marketing & Corporate Communications

    • POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field required; other degrees will be considered with relevant Federated Hermes experience.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing and/or corporate communications required; 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry with an emphasis on investment products preferred.
    • Understanding of financial terms and investment products required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

    MAJOR DUTIES:

    • Coordinate marketing programs for a key intermediary client and support implementation of marketing strategies developed by the Channel Marketing Consultant.
    • Prioritize marketing deliverables with Distribution, Product Management, Senior Sales Management, and other business partners.
    • Serve as project manager for client-specific initiatives and proactively identify potential risks, points of delay, or resource constraints.
    • Maintain channel marketing calendars and deliverable schedules; ensure projects remain aligned with established marketing calendars and deadlines.
    • Manage submission and approval processes for marketing opportunities, programs, events, and content initiatives.
    • Route, review, and proofread project team pieces for accuracy; coordinate and interpret compliance changes.
    • Interface with internal departments and client stakeholders to coordinate project completion.
    • Participate, under the guidance of the Channel Marketing Manager, in the development of marketing campaigns intended to create leads and acquire customers.
    • Assist with planning for regional meetings, market events, due diligence opportunities, and educational programs as needed.

    HOURS/LOCATION:

    • 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (overtime as required)
    • Federated Hermes Tower - Pittsburgh, PA 15222
    • Hybrid work arrangement (office/remote)

    EXPLANATORY COMMENTS:

    • Strong project management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills required.
    • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of clients and Federated Hermes management preferred.
    • Strong communications skills, including writing and presentations; ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
    • Team player who is hard-working and willing to learn.
    • Ability to work primarily with a manager or senior manager while also working independently
    • Demonstrated professionalism, adaptability, and flexibility in a changing business environment.
