Description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $32.27hr - $37.27hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Minimum 4 years of related experience.
  • Applies extensive knowledge of advanced technical concepts and practices.
  • Complete understanding of product or systems fundamentals in a functional area.
  • Working knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Ability to utilize and interpret advanced numerical and statistical data and computer software programs.
  • Experience performing tasks within a quality system environment.
  • Ability to perform complex technical assignments without established procedures.
  • Ability to assist in the design, development, evaluation, or modification of area-specific equipment, materials, and systems.
  • Ability to determine types of tests or develop preventative maintenance plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical support relating to equipment utilized in the manufacturing areas by repairing, maintaining, or modifying production equipment.
  • Utilizes technical expertise, technical manuals, schematic drawings, precision tools, and test equipment.
  • Responds to assembly line equipment repair calls by diagnosing equipment problems and performing the necessary repair.
  • Documents equipment qualifications and upgrades made to existing machines.
  • Records preventative maintenance performed and parts used in the maintenance database to ensure appropriate documentation of repair history.
  • Maintains back-up equipment and ensures spare parts are maintained at the required levels.
  • Assists industrial, manufacturing, and quality engineers in the operation of equipment.
  • Provides equipment development engineers with feedback on equipment issues and offers suggestions for improving equipment uptime.
  • Assists in the construction of worktables, providing necessary utilities, and setting up equipment on manufacturing assembly lines.
  • Modifies existing assembly lines or workstations as required to accommodate manufacturing demands.
  • Mentors less senior employees in the work group and offers counsel.
  • Plans and organizes non-routine tasks with approval.
  • Initiates or maintains work schedules.
  • Establishes priorities of work assignments.
  • Solves a wide range of complex problems requiring advanced interpretation of generally defined procedures and practices.
  • Selects methods and practices to obtain imaginative, thorough, and practical solutions to questions.
  • Maintains general knowledge of products and services associated with the area and specific product lines.

Nice to Have:

  • Medical device experience preferred, but not required.
  • May require a license or certification in the area of expertise.
