Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities Lead projects, drive process development, and support the launch of electronic assemblies from New Product Introduction (NPI) through full-scale production, including mechanical assembly and test operations. Manage NPI, Process Development & Launch Support by reviewing customer data packages (BOMs, Gerbers, assembly drawings) and influencing DFM and DFT early in the cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB, or PCBA environments
• Demonstrated experience supporting NPI, production deviation controls, and cross-functional problem solving
• Working knowledge of PFMEA, control plans, and manufacturing quality systems
• Ability to design or specify test fixtures, tooling, and error-proofing solutions
• Prior experience with ERP and MES platforms such as Epicor or FactoryLogix strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 workmanship standards
• Experience with press-fit, swage, or conformal coating processes is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and datasheets

Responsibilities

• Drive Documentation, Quality & Process Control through the ownership of process flows, structured work instructions, control plans, PFMEAs, and Gauge R&R/MSA validations
• Execute Project Management & Continuous Improvement using structured 8D root-cause problem solving, Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma principles to optimize throughput
• Design, specify, and coordinate fabrication of tooling, stencils, and test fixtures, including sourcing and capital cost estimates
