    Description

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master's preferred)
    • 5-10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
    • Strong background in electrical systems (control panels, MPDUs, PLCs, wiring, sensors, motion control)
    • Expert competency with IPC-A-620C standard
    • Knowledge of CAD packages (AutoCAD, Autodesk, SolidWorks) and manufacturing systems (ERP, MES)
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
    • Proficiency in quality tools (SPC, CAPA, 8D, root cause analysis) and quality standards (ISO 9001, AS9100)
    • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
    • Ability to travel up to 15%

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead development and implementation of manufacturing solutions and translate customer and engineering requirements into effective manufacturing processes
    • Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) initiatives to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and scalable production
    • Lead Quality Management Process and Documentation for internal and external customers, and own and manage First Article Inspection (FAI) activities and reports
    • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve detailed work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
    • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and FMEA methodologies, and oversee electrical build processes including wiring, harnessing, panel integration, and system validation
