Job Description
The Senior Manager, User Experience Design is responsible for leading the strategy, design, and optimization of digital experiences that drive measurable customer and business outcomes. This role combines human-centered design, research, information architecture, content strategy, and experience design to create intuitive and effective digital experiences across Visa's websites, products, and digital platforms.
As a leader within the Digital Experiences organization, you will work within a team of UX designers and while partnering closely with Product, Content, Marketing, Analytics, Technology, and Business stakeholders. You will champion customer-centric thinking, establish experience design best practices, and ensure solutions align with strategic business objectives, user needs, and accessibility standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and drive user experience strategy for key digital initiatives and platforms.
Translate customer insights, analytics, and business goals into actionable experience recommendations.
Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and experience concepts.
Advocate for user-centered design practices across the organization.
Influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams through compelling storytelling and data-driven recommendations.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in user experience design, product design, information architecture, or related disciplines.
3+ years leading teams or managing large-scale UX initiatives.
Experience driving complex digital transformation or website modernization efforts.
Proven success translating customer insights into measurable business outcomes.
