    Technology Risk Management provides independent oversight of Schwab's technology, cybersecurity, and operational resilience risks. Within this organization, the Infrastructure Vulnerabilities Risk Management team assesses and communicates risks that could affect the security, availability, and reliability of Schwab's technology environment.

    As a Senior Manager, Technology Risk Management Lead, you will turn complex vulnerability data into clear risk insights that help senior leaders make informed decisions. You will develop meaningful metrics and risk narratives, evaluate controls and remediation efforts, and identify themes that require action. Working across risk, cybersecurity, technology, data engineering, and reporting teams, you will influence sustainable improvements while providing independent, constructive challenge. Success requires analytical thinking, sound decision making, adaptability, and the ability to communicate technical risk clearly to executive, committee, regulatory, and technical audiences.

    What you have

    Required qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Risk Management, Cybersecurity, or Internal Audit
    • Demonstrated Risk Assessment, Risk Identification, and Risk Prioritization experience
    • Ability to apply Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving to complex technology risk information
    • Strong Communication skills with the ability to present clear conclusions to technical and executive audiences
    • Demonstrated Collaboration and Stakeholder Management skills across multiple functions and organizational levels

    Preferred qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree
    • CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or an equivalent technology risk, cybersecurity, audit, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence certification
    • Experience with Vulnerability Assessment, Risk Mitigation, and technology infrastructure remediation
    • Experience evaluating cybersecurity policies, standards, and controls through Internal Control Evaluation
    • Experience using Data Analysis, Data Visualization, and Analytics & Reporting to develop metrics, trends, and actionable risk insights
    • Experience with SQL, Tableau, or comparable data analysis and visualization tools
    • Financial services industry experience
    • Demonstrated Adaptability, Decision Making, Influencing Others, and Prioritization Techniques in an evolving environment
    • Experience working within an operational or first-line business function, with practical knowledge of how technology and cybersecurity risks are identified, managed, and remediated within day-to-day operations

    In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
