We are seeking a dedicated Sr. Manager of Environmental Compliance to develop and implement comprehensive environmental compliance programs across North America. This position involves leading audits, investigations, and corrective actions to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. The role also includes managing permitting activities, overseeing spill and pollution prevention programs, and supporting sustainability initiatives, including water reduction strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental compliance programs across North America.
• Lead environmental audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Manage permitting activities and environmental certifications.
• Oversee spill prevention and pollution prevention programs.
• Lead environmental emergency response and first responder initiatives.
• Develop and deliver environmental compliance training.
• Manage environmental risk assessments and mitigation programs.
• Support sustainability initiatives, including water reduction strategies.
• Oversee environmental testing, monitoring, and reporting.
• Manage environmental capital improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and corporate environmental requirements.
• Provide oversight of ammonia systems and boiler emissions.

Essential Skills

• Experience in environmental compliance within manufacturing.
• Environmental program management experience.
• Experience with environmental permitting.
• Experience conducting environmental audits.
• Proficiency in environmental risk assessments.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance (EPA/State regulations).
• Experience in multi-site environmental oversight.
• Bachelor"s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or related discipline.
• Technical knowledge in air and stormwater permits, waste management programs, spill and pollution prevention programs.
• Experience with environmental investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Strong leadership and influence skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally.

• Food manufacturing experience.
• Dairy manufacturing experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish or French.
• Hazardous Materials Certifications.
• First Responder Certifications.
• Experience in sustainability program leadership.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and boiler emissions.

Work Environment

The role operates within a dynamic work environment that requires regular interaction across various functions. The position demands strong project management skills and the ability to deliver presentations and communicate effectively. The dress code is business casual, and the role may involve occasional travel to different sites.

This is a Permanent position based out of New Holland, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
