Position Responsibilities:

Serve as the single-threaded leader for AI and automation initiatives within the Stores & Operations Legal organization, driving strategy and execution for innovative Legal AI solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and unlock new business capabilities. Work directly with Amazon Legal department and business leadership to reimagine how the work of the Legal department should be done. Directly and indirectly lead various legal professionals and attorneys in conceiving of and delivering on specific projects that support the deployment of AI and other technologies to streamline and improve the work of the Legal department.

Position Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or foreign equivalent degree and ten years of experience as an attorney. Must have at least one year of experience in an in-house legal environment in the following skill(s): (1) experience in technology and commercial transactions, regulatory diligence and compliance processes; (2) working directly with senior business leaders and providing legal counsel; and (3) experience leveraging automation technologies to deliver legal services. License to practice law in the U.S. required. Domestic and/or international travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
