    Primary Objective:

    The Regional Finance Manager partners with Region VP and Sales Management Team to drive business results, processes and analytical support. This position will be responsible for leading regional planning/forecasting, publishing timely financial results, providing value-added analysis on key business issues and implementing finance initiatives. Also acts as communicator of assessment of progress against strategic and tactical plans.

    Major Function and Scope:

    Controllership (40% of Time)

    • Manage annual regional plan including revenue, expense and operating income.
    • Responsible for Monthly Regional Forecasts including revenue, expense and operating income.
    • Executes monthly operating income analysis (Entire P&L) to include:(Revenue, Standard Margin Analysis, Cost Analysis & Freight SG&A)
    • Produces KPI performance reporting.
    • Supports monthly/quarterly business reviews.
    • Solves for internal control issues.

    Business Analysis (40% of Time)

    • Interpret customer profitability/MORE initiative.
    • Analyze discount spend efficiency effectiveness.
    • Complete workflow analysis and process improvement projects.
    • Execute business case preparation and analysis.

    Business Partner/Special projects (20% of Time)

    • Assist in building strategic plan.
    • Measure business benchmarking.
    • Ensure maximum efficiency through capital management and project analysis.
    • Responsible for analysis of real estate and facility segments.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Type of Experience and Knowledge:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting minimum requirement. MBA, CPA, CMA and professional certification highly preferred.
    • 7+ years of progressive finance experience. Previous management, distribution and manufacturing experience a plus.

    Competencies:

    • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, BI, and SAP. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to influence top management.
    • Must be able to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate solid time management, Multitask and organizational skills.
    • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.
