Sr. Manager, Digital Operations is responsible for leading a portfolio of technical and IT projects through a team, ensuring the successful delivery of strategic initiatives across multiple technology disciplines. This role is accountable for establishing project management practices, governing project execution, and optimizing resources, processes, and delivery performance to achieve business and technology objectives. This role is also accountable for developing team capability, driving operational excellence, and influencing stakeholders to ensure technology initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with quality standards.
Essential Functions
Leads and oversees the execution of a portfolio of complex IT, digital, or technical projects across multiple technology disciplines, ensuring alignment with functional priorities, business objectives, and delivery commitments
Develops and implements project management methodologies, governance frameworks, processes, metrics, and best practices that improve delivery effectiveness, consistency, and organizational outcomes
Establishes project priorities, expected outcomes, resource strategies, schedules, budgets, and delivery plans while ensuring appropriate allocation of project management resources across initiatives
Directs managers, project managers, and project teams in the application of Scrum, Agile, and related project delivery practices to achieve project milestones, quality standards, and business results
Monitors project performance through defined metrics, status reporting, risk assessments, milestone reviews, and ROI evaluation, proactively resolving issues and removing barriers that may impact delivery success and business value realization.[
Provides technical, analytical, and operational guidance across projects, ensuring requirements are effectively documented, stakeholders remain informed, and project objectives are clearly understood
Governs vendor-supported project activities by overseeing the integration of vendor deliverables, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to contractual expectations and quality standards
Comply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned
People Management
Accountable for team staffing and managing direct reports to include development, performance management, goal setting, and other managerial duties
Ensures direct reports are aware of and follow ethical business practices and Company's Code of Conduct to maintain a supportive and productive working environment.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Project Management, or related field or equivalent education and/or experience
8 years experience in technical project management, IT project delivery, program management, or related discipline
3 years leadership or people management experience
Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated expertise in technical project management principles, methodologies, and governance practices
Ability to influence stakeholders and executive leadership across the organization
Ability to build collaborative relationships across technical and business functions
Strategic project and portfolio management skills to successfully mitigate risks, manage resources, and prioritize initiatives
