    Description

    Amazon"s Private Brands organization is seeking a Sr. Mgr, Category Management to join our talented team in delivering the most trusted products on the planet.

    Private Brands builds products that deliver value in quality, sustainability, price, convenience, innovating to anticipate customer needs. This is an opportunity to positively impact customers by driving growth of Private Brands in the Amazon Business channel.

    The leader in this role is responsible for defining the strategic vision and operational plan to grow Private Brands performance in B2B channels. This is a management role, leading a team of 5-10 Product, Program, and Vendor managers.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Lead a team of Product, Program, and Vendor Managers across multiple product categories
    • Develop and execute 1 and 3Y operating plans and financial forecasts
    • Influence partner teams (Business Development, Tech, Retail) to ensure we deliver against key profitability and growth targets
    • Manage resourcing and prioritization, making smart tradeoffs to scale operations as the business grows while acting with frugality

    • Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external partners, while meeting tight deadlines
    • Create compelling customer experience that raises the bar and drives customer engagement
    • Analyze weekly and monthly performance metrics and manage communication with stakeholders to hit key inputs and ouputs
    • Provide business inputs regarding promotional activity, space allocation, pricing, productivity analysis, and forecasting
