POSITION SUMMARY: Assumes responsibility for maintaining and repairing production equipment in a fluid environment. Primary responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing equipment using electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic skills. Perform facility maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, heating/air, etc. ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES: - Responsible for general repairs of the facility including, but not limited to, painting, roof repair, snow removal, and other miscellaneous repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment using electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate familiarity with all equipment and maintenance procedures:
- Preventative maintenance
- Break down repair
- Replacement of equipment
- Record keeping
- Install new equipment and modify existing equipment as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Miscellaneous tasks such as cleaning, dock shelter repair, basic grounds upkeep, fork lift repair, etc.
- Demonstrate required technical skills for the job
