Sr. Linux Systems Engineer - 173590

Responsibilities: of the Sr. Linux Systems Engineer: · Manage and support large-scale Linux infrastructure across data center and cloud environments. · Maintain and enhance tooling used to bootstrap and automate infrastructure deployments within AWS. · Administer and support VMware virtualization environments and bare metal server infrastructure. · Manage enterprise storage platforms, including NetApp environments. · Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and infrastructure reliability. · Support Kubernetes-based workloads and containerized environments as needed. Qualifications: of the Sr. Linux Systems Engineer: · 7+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related infrastructure roles. · Strong experience administering Linux environments, preferably Ubuntu, though experience with other Linux distributions is acceptable. · Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization technologies. · Experience managing and troubleshooting bare metal server environments within data centers. · Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and infrastructure automation tooling. · Exposure to Kubernetes and containerized environments. · Strong scripting and automation experience using Bash, Python, or similar technologies. · Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools is preferred. · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
