Design, install, configure, deploy, and monitor Linux serversTroubleshoot applications and OS related issuesDevelop automation scripts for routine tasksProactively manage performance tuningPerform system updates, server installations and general maintenanceWork with protocols such as FTPS, SSH, SMTP, LDAP, NFS, HTTPSDocument platform configuration and associated processesRespond within defined SLA requirements in relation to system issuesUnderstanding and practice security concepts on-premises and cloudMake recommendations, justify, and implement improvements using an accepted change control methodology.Define, document and follow standards and best practices for systems design, testing, and implementation.Acquire & coordinate resources from other groups as needed to resolve customer issues.Actively mentor junior system administrator personnel and reinforce adoption of best practices
