Sr. Lead Platform Architect
This is a Hybrid opportunity in Chicago or Dallas that requires 2-3 days a week to work on site (So local or under 50 miles distance)

Primary Responsibilities
Sr. Lead Platform Architect will be responsible for:
Leading Architecture design and decision making or core platform capabilities including:
• container orchestration
• streaming infrastructure
• cloud architecture
• CI/CD and GitOps pipelines and observabilities
Transition to new platform mut be clearly defined
Must be proficient and own architectures for Kubernetes-based workloads, Kafka streaming,, Flink stream processing, and AWS infrastructure patterns
Architect and direct migration of workloads to cloud-native patterns on AWS
Technical Qualifications
Prefer Someone with solid DevOps background, or 10 years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or system architecture
Proficiency and Hands on experience with:
• Kubernetes - workload design, networking, security, cluster architecture
• Apache Kafka for deployment, Apache Flink or similar stream processing
• AWS Architecture – VPCs, EC2, EKS, MSK, S3, IAM, KMS
• Implementation of GitOps pipeline – IaC, secret management promotions
• Rrelease automation with the help of Flux, ArgoCD, Terraform, or Helm
