Long Term
Responsibilities
Modernize legacy applications into Spring Boot based microservices.
Architect and implement cloud native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Integrate AI/LLM capabilities (Claude, OpenAI, etc.) into enterprise applications.
Design AI powered features such as intelligent chatbots, document processing
summarization, and code assistants/automation tools.
Define API first and event driven architectures.
Implement secure, scalable, and resilient systems.
Lead Azure cloud migration (on prem cloud/hybrid).
Establish CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Drive AI governance, security, and ethical usage frameworks.
Mentor teams on modern architecture and AI adoption.
Mandatory Skills
Java
Spring Boot: Strong experience in Java (8/11/17) and expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud (Gateway, Config, Eureka), and Spring Security.
Azure Cloud: Proficient in Azure DevOps (CI/CD), Terraform/ARM templates, and knowledge of Azure Storage, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL.
AI / Generative AI: Experience integrating LLMs like Claude and GPT 4, with an understanding of prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), and embeddings
vector databases.
Migration
Modernization: Experience in monolith to microservices transformation, strangler pattern implementation, and data migration strategies.
Architecture
Integration: Knowledge of microservices
distributed systems, event driven architecture (Kafka/Azure Service Bus/Event Hub), and domain driven design (DDD).
Containers
DevOps: Proficient in Docker
Kubernetes (AKS preferred), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins), and monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
Database: Experience with SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (Cosmos DB, MongoDB), and vector databases (good to have for AI use cases).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7 10 years of experience in software development and architecture.
Proven track record in application architecture and cloud migration.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
