Description
A leading technology services organization in Texas is seeking a Sr. Java Engineer in Fort Worth to focus on building and supporting scalable, reliable software solutions with an emphasis on Java-based development, distributed systems, and cloud-enabled architecture.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Standard business
Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week onsite)
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and document technical solutions in alignment with engineering standards
Build and enhance components and libraries that support scalable, high-impact applications
Perform root cause analysis and help define corrective actions for systemic issues
Collaborate on system design decisions with a focus on reliability, durability, and performance
Partner with engineering and security teams to improve code quality, reuse, and technical practices
Qualifications:
2 to 5 years of experience in Software Development or Engineering
Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, engineering, or a related field
Experience with Java
Experience with Kafka
Experience with MongoDB
Experience with multi-cloud environments
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Azure
Desired Skills:
Experience with object-oriented analysis and design, UML, test-driven development, and Java design patterns
Familiarity with enterprise integration design patterns and disaster recovery design
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or XP environments
