Standard Job Description
DarkStar is one of only a handful of industry authorized eWANs (Enterprise Wide Area Network) in operation today. Operating under a single ATO, DarkStar is able to scale and provide classified Programs with a secure, encrypted, shared backend environment to execute IT needs today in an on-premises setting.
As part of the DarkStar team this position will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance of several Linux/Unix servers. This includes but is not limited to patching, performing scan validation and remediations, hardening servers, installing and maintaining software packages and deploying new servers. An ideal candidate will be able to work in a cross-platform environment supporting Windows and Linux/Unix. Knowledge of VMware and network storage is not required but highly desired.
