Job Description:

DESCRIPTION

We are hiring a Sr. Program Manager - Services Procurement, with proven enterprise procurement and project management experience. This role requires the management of new and existing procurement programs, forecasting and spend control, scoping and creating project plans, coordinating and driving execution, and clear communication to senior management. Cross-team coordination, program management and procurement skills are essential.

Key job responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage new and existing procurement programs, delivering desired results across multiple United business groups. Examples of procurement programs we support include Digital Technology and Shared Services, Airport Services, Strategic Sourcing, TechOps Parts & Asset Trading, Hotels and Corporate Travel, Aircraft Interiors, as well as many other services categories.
  • Influence design and development of strategic procurement programs.
  • Create and manage program communication, accelerating progress by driving clear and timely decisions, removing obstacles and escalating as appropriate.
  • Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects and using this data to drive/influence business decisions.
  • Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to create and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Execute and own large-scale process improvement opportunities within new business launches existing processes and controls, including defining scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure service levels across multiple vendors/providers ensuring quality services. This includes management of day to day program escalations such as vendor concerns, vendor performance support, scoping changes, and many other day to day field team needs across the services portfolios.
  • Recognize and resolve issues and provide hands-on support to ensure procurement programs operate successfully across all locations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of professional experience supporting Procurement Programs and Procurement Business Units
  • 10+ years of enterprise program management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
