Sr Interior Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr Interior Designer to lead complex architectural projects from concept through completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and proven leadership in managing teams, clients, and consultants.

Work Environment

The role involves working on a variety of project types, including Civic, Public Safety, Education, and Healthcare. Willing to travel for work

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex architectural projects from initial concept through to completion.
• Adhere to project budgets and timelines effectively.
• Manage and mentor junior and intermediate designers on the team.
• Produce Interior Design and construction documents within an A/E consulting firm.
• Collaborate with clients and consultants to ensure project success.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and familiarity with building design.
• Solve problems proactively and assertively while working on parallel assignments.
• Make group presentations and work effectively in team environments.
• Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Strong visualization skills with familiarity in ENSCAPE.
• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Familiarity with A/E industry BIM standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design.
• LEED certification and WELL AP credentials are a plus.
• Experience in Commercial, Industrial, and Mixed-Use Developments.
• Familiarity with Deltek, Bluebeam, or other project management tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
