    LOCALS ONLY WHO CAN WORK ON W2Responsible for leading enterprise-scale End of Life (EOL) technology remediation efforts across Bank of Americas internal compute environments, with primary focus on migrating legacy workloads to the banks new hyperconverged internal cloud virtual hosting platform.

    Accountable for the assessment, planning, execution tracking, and successful remediation of approximately 14,000 servers across three core platform types: distributed workloads on dedicated (bare metal) infrastructure, grid-based compute environments, and legacy Internal Cloud hosting platforms.

    Owns the end-to-end EOL remediation lifecycle, including stakeholder coordination, capacity planning, migration strategy alignment, and progress governance, ensuring that greater than 90% of EOL remediation is achieved through migration to the new hyperconverged platform rather than rehosting on refreshed dedicated infrastructure.

    Task-level responsibilities include:

    • Partnering with platform and workload owners to identify, assess, and document EOL server inventory across all in-scope environments.
    • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive remediation plan and tracking mechanism for ~14,000 servers, aligned to quarterly and target-state milestones (Q1 2027).
    • Creating and managing capacity plans to support large-scale workload migration to the hyperconverged internal cloud platform.
    • Driving alignment with engineering, architecture, and product teams to ensure target-state platform adoption is the default remediation path.
    • Establishing and reporting on KPIs and progress metrics, with a focus on platform migration rate, residual bare metal remediation, and timeline adherence.
    • Identifying risks, blockers, and dependencies, and proactively driving issue resolution across organizational boundaries.
    • Providing executive-level visibility through status reporting, dashboards, and escalation management.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering/management roles
    • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale remediation or migration programs (thousands of assets/workloads)
    • Strong understanding of server lifecycle management, EOL processes, and infrastructure environments
    • Proven ability to drive cross-organizational alignment across product, engineering, and operations teams
    • Experience building and managing capacity plans and execution tracking frameworks

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) or private/internal cloud platforms
    • Background in financial services or highly regulated enterprise environments
    • Familiarity with grid computing environments and distributed workload patterns
    • Advanced proficiency in data visualization/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
    • Strong executive communication skills, including status reporting to senior leadership
