Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer with strong experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, process improvement, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will lead continuous improvement initiatives, improve manufacturing processes, and drive measurable improvements in quality, cost, delivery, and efficiency.


Job Title: Sr. Industrial Engineer
Location: Minneapolis, MN

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve operational performance.
• Identify process inefficiencies, reduce waste, and eliminate non-value-added activities.
• Develop and implement standardized work practices and process improvements.
• Conduct Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, Root Cause Analysis, and DMAIC projects.
• Analyze operational metrics, KPIs, and statistical data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead projects from problem identification through implementation and sustainment.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
• Track improvement results and ensure long-term sustainability.
• Coach and train teams on Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and structured problem-solving.
• Ensure processes align with applicable quality systems, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing standards.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Experience with Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, DMAIC, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects.
• Knowledge of quality systems and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
