  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on company policies, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Coordinate Workers Compensation and Unemployment internally and with TPAs
  • Partner with leadership on organizational initiatives such as culture-building, recognition programs, and employee engagement events.
  • Partner with department heads and senior leadership to deliver full-spectrum HR support including staffing, employee relations, performance management, engagement, and compliance.
  • Manage and facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all new hires.
  • Assist with investigations, documentation, and resolution of employee relations matters across office, warehouse, sales, and driver teams.
  • Maintain working knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.) and ensure ongoing compliance in HR practices.
  • Contribute to the development of HR policies, programs, and procedures that align with company values and evolving business needs.
  • Participate in HR strategy sessions and special projects led by the Vice President of HR, helping to translate strategy into actionable programs and outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience within a mid-sized organization; background across multiple HR disciplines strongly preferred.
  • Direct and recent experience with ADP Workforce Now required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
  • Experience supporting diverse employee groups including hourly, driver, warehouse, and professional staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization-including the C-suite.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Professional certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) a plus.

Personal Attributes

  • Energetic, approachable, and professional demeanor with an authentic passion for people and workplace culture.
  • Flexible and adaptable-able to balance day-to-day operational demands with long-term HR initiatives.
