Sr Human Factors Design Eng - Exempt

Responsibilities

• Design and execute human factors validation studies, including study protocol development and participant recruitment.
• Perform use-related risk analysis and author comprehensive usability data analysis reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide design recommendations based on usability data.
• Apply human performance principles to the design of human-machine systems and products.
• Develop and implement research methodologies and statistical analysis plans for product development.
• Interface with design engineers to establish system design and ensure optimized human-machine interfaces.
• Identify and analyze technological problems or risks and develop research and analysis plans.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in human factors engineering or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of human factors methodologies, usability testing, and risk analysis.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage projects from design to implementation.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• University degree in a relevant field, with advanced education preferred.

This position requires on-site work in Minneapolis, MN, with an expectation of 4 days in the office per week. We are looking to hire and start as soon as possible.
