Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for people, processes, and manufacturing? If so, we have a thrilling opportunity for you! We are seeking a dynamic and driven Permanent Sr. HR Generalist/Manager to join our team. This role is a key player in our company, ensuring that our most valuable asset, our employees, are supported and empowered. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Payroll and Employee Relations and benefits administration, be bilingual, and have a solid understanding of the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Sr. HR Generalist/Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that keep our company running smoothly. Some of your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
3. Managing the recruitment and selection process.
4. Supporting current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
5. Developing and monitoring overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
6. Overseeing and managing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
7. Assessing training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
8. Reporting to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
9. Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a senior HR role in a manufacturing environment.
3. Demonstrated experience with HR metrics, benefits administration, and legal compliance.
4. Bilingual skills are a must.
5. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
6. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
7. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
8. Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
9. People-oriented and results-driven.
