Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (e.g., BSW with one-year practicum working directly with individuals with mental disabilities).
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field acceptable (with one year of required experience).
  • Bachelor's degree without practicum acceptable with 3 years of qualifying experience.

Experience:

  • 3 years of experience providing case management or housing services (with a Bachelor's degree).
  • 2 years of experience providing case management or housing services (with a Master's degree).
  • Experience working with individuals with mental disabilities or human services strongly preferred.

Certifications/Licenses:

CPR and First Aid certifications; NYS Driver's License a plus.

Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Work Location Requirement: Onsite

Schedule: 9:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday

Compensation: $23.6979

About the Role

The Senior Housing Coordinator provides day-to-day supervision to Housing Coordinators and supports the attainment of permanent housing goals through assessment, guidance, and oversight of housing-related services.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clinical supervision to Housing Coordinators.
  • Establish and maintain work schedules and oversee timekeeping compliance.
  • Manage performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and recommendations for recognition or promotion.
  • Conduct employment interviews and manage staffing needs.
  • Ensure staff complete required trainings and conduct training sessions as needed.
  • Oversee employee accident reporting and workers' compensation claims.
  • Monitor employee morale and compliance with anti-harassment guidelines.
  • Approve or recommend approval for time off and monitor FMLA situations.
  • Conduct weekly meetings addressing resident progress, barriers, and service coordination.
  • Perform all functions of a Housing Coordinator, including developing housing resources, liaising with landlords, and maintaining case records.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Report serious incidents and complete required incident reports.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
