    Description

    As part of our commitment to fostering a safe, healthy, and high-performing workforce, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to join our Global Medical & Health team. This role will drive the implementation of innovative Occupational Health interventions that help workers leave the workplace healthier than when they came. In this role, you will dive deep into health and medical processes; identify risks through data and first-hand experience; build and execute programs and improve processes to eliminate risks; and influence field teams to support the integration of occupational health best practices. This role will focus on coordinating and leading large, strategic projects / programs within Amazon Business Operations and will be strongly focused on injury and illness prevention.

    The role will report into the Senior Manager, Health Solutions, and must be able to earn trust and build strong relationships to work cross-functionally with WHS and operations leadership, central teams and field professionals.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Monitor, interpret, and ensure compliance with all applicable occupational health regulations and standards.
    • Lead audits, inspections, and risk assessments related to employee health programs.
    • Develop, review, and lead large, strategic occupational health and medical projects / programs within Amazon Operations.
    • Build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders and partners across many organizations to align project/program goals and resources.
    • Coordinate a portfolio of programs / projects from inception to delivery.
    • Define and implement metrics to measure and communicate occupational health program performance.
    • Communicate the overall program roadmap and provide periodic status updates to the stakeholders, and present programs / projects to senior leadership on a regular basis.
    • Provide program decision support, insights and recommendations through data gathering and analysis.
