Sr Full Stack Java Developer - AI-Driven Application Development
Location: Farmington Hills, MI (Remote flexibility) | Job Type: C2C
About the Role:
Join our dynamic Application Development Team as a Senior Full Stack Java Developer and shape the next generation of enterprise solutions. Leverage your deep technical expertise in Core Java, Webservices, Angular, and AI-assisted development tools to architect and deliver robust, high-performance applications. Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design and development of scalable, secure applications using Core Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, RESTful services, and Angular
- Architect and implement UI/UX solutions, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend systems
- Optimize JVM performance and application profiling for enhanced reliability and speed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
- Utilize AI-based development tools like Github Copilot to increase development efficiency and code quality
- Write clean, maintainable code across the stack (Java, Angular/Typescript, Node, HTML/CSS, SQL/PLSQL)
- Manage code versioning, conduct code reviews, and uphold best practices in a CI/CD environment
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues
- Drive innovation by identifying and implementing process improvements
Required Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years as a Full Stack Developer with Core Java/J2EE expertise
- Advanced knowledge of REST Services, JVM, Profiling, and Spring Framework
- Strong experience with Angular, Typescript, Node, HTML/CSS, and Jersey
- Solid SQL/PLSQL skills and hands-on Oracle Database experience
- Exposure to Github Copilot or similar AI development tools
- Demonstrated analytical reasoning, critical thinking, and solution-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead UI architecture and development efforts
Preferred Skills:
- Unix/Shell Scripting
- CI/CD pipeline implementation
- JBoss Server experience
- Docker, Kubernetes, or Elastic Stack
- Memcache/REDIS
