Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Senior Full-Stack Cloud/On-Prem Software Engineer opportunity located Remote in the United States, supporting a next-generation AI, quantum, and advanced computing platform.
Job Description:
- This role supports the next-generation cloud infrastructure behind Ground-Truth™—an AI-native cybersecurity and data observability platform designed to continuously monitor large-scale enterprise environments and detect anomalies, zero-day threats, and previously unknown activity.
- We are seeking a hands-on Senior Full-Stack Cloud Software Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud-native applications and services across frontend/backend services, REST APIs, user-facing capabilities, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Kubernetes, CI/CD, and distributed systems.
- You will work across cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, cybersecurity, AI, and DevSecOps while helping build both customer-facing cybersecurity platform capabilities and internal DevSecOps/infrastructure tooling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cloud-Native Architecture & Development: Design and build scalable cloud-native applications and services on OCI.
- Full-Stack Workflows & API Design: Develop frontend and backend services, REST APIs, service-to-service integrations, authentication, and data flows for cybersecurity and data-intensive workflows.
- User-Facing Capabilities: Build intuitive user-facing capabilities and full-stack workflows where needed.
- Containerization & DevSecOps: Package and deploy services using containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
- Platform Performance & Observability: Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and system observability.
- Software Craftsmanship: Write clean, testable, maintainable production-grade software.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cybersecurity, AI/ML, platform engineering, and product teams.
Job Qualifications:
- Software Engineering Experience: Strong software engineering background building production-grade applications.
- Backend Development: Strong backend development experience using Python, Rust, Java, TypeScript, or similar languages.
- APIs & Distributed Systems: Direct experience building REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Modern Web Development: Frontend experience using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web frameworks such as React.
- Data Stores: Proficiency working with SQL and/or NoSQL data stores.
- Cloud & DevOps Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Ansible, networking, and secure cloud-native development.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) or other major cloud platforms.
- Domain Experience: Prior experience with cybersecurity platforms or security-product development.
- High-Volume Telemetry: Experience with high-volume telemetry, streaming, or data-intensive platforms.
- Kubernetes Deployment: Advanced experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native application deployment.
- AI/ML Integration: Exposure to AI/ML product integration.
- Enterprise & Government Environments: Experience building software for enterprise, OT/SCADA, or government environments.
- High-Growth Settings: Experience working in high-growth, transformation, or private equity-backed environments.

- Pay Rate Range: $90–$120/hour
